Our genuine foil is distinguished in the bookbinding industry for its super easy release and broad coverage over large follicle holes on difficult-to-stamp leathers; most notably pigskin. Non-flake, pinhole free genuine gold gilding foil is also available.
Our genuine gold foil is also used in the furniture industry. Leather inserts are commonly stamped with emblems or markings for distinguishing purposes. Quick Roll Leaf original series Imitation Gold/Aluminum gilding foil runs on Ochsner gilding machines at preferred lower temperatures than industry standard and in turn extend the life of rubber rollers. We have just recently introduced a new series of Imitation Gold/Aluminum gilding foil (34I Series). This series has two new characteristics:
1) higher heat tolerance
2) brighter, more inlay appearance
